The Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University offers extensive training opportunities in all aspects of psychiatry.
Fellowship, internship and residency programs in clinical psychiatry are available in a range of areas, including General Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, Public Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Psychology, and Social Work. The department welcomes medical student electives in Psychiatry. An extensive program of Continuing Medical Education is also available.
In addition, there are many exciting research training opportunities within the Department of Psychiatry, in areas of psychiatry relating to neurobiology, pharmacology and epidemiology.
